Sound design Alessandro Gulino.

Work installation by Domenico Brancale's voice.

Sound design Alessandro Gulino.

7 crossroads of a Lucania's cemetery, the remains of what was planted in our death's name. 49 stones of the Agri river, this one and another one, where water resounds for millenniums, flows and sees us flowing, where we remained, just here in the furrow of a voice, that no wind scatters, and no empty fills. Always a voice placed on the stone. Always a planted silent inside this cross.

The voice is firm. The experience of Domenico Brancale's poetry always seems wavering instead of evolving, it moves by staggering, falling and hurting itself. But the voice is firm. Always. Heartbreaking and firm. His voice is not a voice, but is an open injury. The echo of a so dignified as substantially indecent lament. And now his deep tone resounds empty in the substance, compares itself more with the being's flesh, with the death experience. But also considering the death as language and work. Because this "work by voice" is just an umpteenth death proof of the poet: as always, as it's classic. And now the whole dictate eclipses in a black hole, a cross, a deposed symbol from its role of sun, from its contest, the ossuary.

The voice evokes the images itself: symbol of absence, extols the horror vacui, the mistrust in humans.

A poet missing his voice from the birth begs for the absolution and the condemnation.

Catalogue in two issues, one dedicated to the installation reportage, the other one to the Brancale's poetry with scripts of Vito Bonito, Jonny Costantino and Sandro Sproccati. Curated by CTL - press editor, Hamburg with the collaboration of  Gasparelli Contemporary Art Gallery, Fano.
