1 | 2 | 3 |Erich Turroni (Cesena, 1976) presenta la sua più recente produzione, tra cui alcune opere realizzate per l’occasione, confermandosi uno degli artisti più promettenti della sua generazione, ciò che è autorevolmente sottolineato dalla sua partecipazione alla prossima edizione della Quadriennale d’Arte di Roma.
Turroni è artista che avverte profondamente il disagio del vivere quotidiano. L’inquietudine che ne deriva si manifesta nelle sue opere pittoriche attraverso un segno ossessivamente ripetuto, circolare e allo stesso tempo indagatore, così che l’arte diventa penetrazione nel mistero della vita.
Tutto questo viene alla luce con altrettanta efficacia nelle opere scultoree, costituite prevalentemente da figure, o parti di esse, che possono mostrarsi nella loro effimera e instabile struttura, oppure nudamente, in una forma disgregata e aspra, in tutto il loro dramma. (Giancarlo Papi)
Erich Turroni (Cesena, 1976) shows his last production, among which some works realized just for the exhibition. He's established himself as one of the best artists of his generation, a fact authoritatively emphasized by his presence at the next Rome Quadriennale.
Turroni is an artist who deeply senses the inconvenience of everyday life. The deriving anxiety manifests itself in his pictorial works by an obsessively repeated sign, circular and inquiring at the same time, so that art becomes penetration in the mystery of life.
This concept is efficiently developed even in his sculptural works, mainly characterized by figures, or parts of them, which can be shown in their ephemeral and unstable structure, or nudely, in a disintegrated and sharp form, in all their tragedy. (Giancarlo Papi)
