Nello spazio rinnovato della Galleria, il video Piogge appese, primo lavoro dell’artista con questo mezzo, farà da prologo alla mostra curata da Gian Ruggero Manzoni.
Tele e grandi opere su carta realizzate con elaborato rigore del segno e proprietà tecnica, delineano un mondo chiuso alle dinamiche sociali in decisa controtendenza rispetto ai contenuti di molta arte d’oggi, l’unica forma di interazione sembra tentata tra categorie diverse, gli interni sempre abitati da corpi e i corpi abitati da protesi. Lei apre pieghe e trova teste.
Gli scritti di Angela Maltoni dai quali sviluppa la sua iconografia possono darci indicazioni, sono anche didascalie, sono punti fermi del suo agire.
L’immagine apre e chiude nella sua efferata autonomia.
Third appointment of the cycle "harte Fugung hard construct" with the exhibition of Angela Maltoni's pictorial work (Forlì 1979).
In the renewed Gallery's space, the video Hanging rains, the first artist's work with this means, introduces the exhibition curated by Gian Ruggero Manzoni.
Canvases and great works on paper realized with elaborate rigor of the sign and technical property, delineate a closed world to social trends in decisive contrast regarding to the contents of much nowadays art. The only one form of interaction seems tempted among different categories, the interiors always inhabited by bodies and the bodies inhabited by prosthesis. It opens folds and finds heads.
Angela Maltoni's scripts, from which her iconography is developed, can give us indications. They are also captions, they're fixed points of her action.
The imagine opens and closes in its brutal autonomy.
